Fun Times In The Kitchen

We have had some fun times making Christmas cookies in the last couple of weeks. Cayden made some cookies for the missionaries last night. He loves to be in the kitchen helping mommy or daddy.

We went to my friend Tess's house with all the other play group mommies & their kids to decorate some sugar cookies.

We made some chocolate chip cookies at our home.

Some new changes...

So it's been a while since I have blogged. I have been very busy on maternity leave since November 10th. Cayden & I have had some great times together. We have been on a pretty good schedule (which I like to have). I have taken him to a really cool sportsplex where he can play forever on inflatable bounce houses & slides. We have played at parks, walking in the hills, shopping at the mall, visiting Santa & so much more! I have done a lot of things with my friends from church - it is so nice having friends around that have kids Cayden's age or close to it. He loves his friends & always likes to play with them. We have also had some fun times at home. He loves to play pretend. We built a fort for him to hang out in & he pretended he was camping.

Here he is dancing to some music (even though we don't allow him to climb on top of his head board, it was too cute)

On December 1st at 12:56pm Casey joined our family. She was 1 week early (which I was glad for). I had a succesful VBAC (I am actually very proud of myself). She was 9.38 lbs & 21 inches. She is a wonderful addition to our family. I am already so attached to her and love her so much.

I feel I have been so blessed in my life. I have a loving and caring husband. Two sweet & healthy kids. Wonderful & supporting family. I have met the best of friends from church & they are such great examples to me. There are actually 5 of us that were due with in 1 month of eachother. I am the 2nd one to have my baby so there are 3 more wonderful women out there waiting for the arrival of their babies. I can't wait until a year from now when they all will be playing together.
